Sometimes, you get FRUSTRATED when there is a lack of NEW AND HIP TECHNOLOGY, you TINKER AND FIDDLE with your PREEXISTING ELECTRONICS. You’ve bastardized just about everything you have AT LEAST TWICE.
Your funky looking DEVICE you wear is your PORTABLE SCREEN. You can view anything taking place on your main COMPUTER, but you CAN’T INTERACT with your computer directly. Maybe one day you’ll FIGURE OUT HOW TO INTERACT REMOTELY WITH YOUR COMPUTER.

You tend to CONSTANTLY THINK ABOUT THE FUTURE. To you, the past is MEANINGLESS. Unfortunately, this means you tend to forget PAST MISTAKES. You never learn.

NEXT you think you should bring up your other INTERESTS. NOW.

You need to seriously calm the fuck down. You should probably go talk to your MOIRAIL, VECTES HOFFEN. She knows how to defuse you.

Let’s move onto your interests. Besides TECHNOLOGY, you love PREDICTING ALTERNIA’S DEMISE. You suppose you are kind of an APOCALYPSE BUFF, which is a THING you can BE on Alternia. However, you aren’t nearly BLOODCRAZY enough to build doomsday devices.

Moving on from BLOODCRAZINESS, your moirail accuses you of being SOMEWHAT CONCEITED. This is PRETTY ACCURATE. But with GOOD REASON, YOU GUESS. You are considered HIGH CLASS, but not NOBILITY. You sometimes WISH you were on the next rung on the hemospectrum, maybe COBALT is more of your color.

Personality: Relatively nice, but takes some time getting used to. Appreciates his place in the hemospectrum, even if it’s only high class. Generally happy unless his blunders in his technological advances frustrate him, then he swears violently, but not as creatively as Karkat. Usually goes on a fit of rage until his moirail calms him. Kind of sucks at inventing/upgrading his tech, but won’t admit it to ANYONE.

Symbol and appearance: Symbol is a representation of a diode (diodes allow electrical currents to pass in one direction while blocking the reverse current, which references his obsession with what’s “next” or “upcoming”). One horn has a little mini arrow jutting out, pointing in the same direction as the electrical current would on his diode symbol.

Name: Nexius (References “next”, also references nexus. “A connection or series of connections linking two or more things. A connected group or series: “a nexus of ideas”.” Vidare (Swedish for furthermore, more, so on).

Quirk: All caps, uses exclamation points in place of periods. Only other punctuation he uses is apostraphes.  Replaces V with >. Emotes: J:D (closest representation of his horns I could get, any ideas?) and >_>.

Q: While I don’t necessarily have a lot of questions about him, I can definitely say he needs expanding!  He’s a good start, but definitely could use more.  He’s a little simple.  

I’d recommend delving deeper into his personality, interests, opinions, and drawing out more from that!  Like, for example, how well can he function without his technology?

Role-playing, as I have stated, definitely helps give ideas about how your troll acts in certain situations and can give you help on expansion.

As for a lusus, since jitters SEEM to be a big part of his personality, think of animals that are easily started/nervous! For example, mice, hamsters, guinea pigs.  They’re small, but its definitely a start.
